Slow Flow Fridays

The pace of the class is steady and mindful, allowing us to move slowly but with more focus on building strength.

We hold postures for longer, which nurtures presence, strength and depth. Longer time in poses also gives time to settle into alignment and feel the challenge of using your muscles with control.

The class is more active than Gentle Flow but not as fast or intense as a Vinyasa class. By moving slowly and holding poses, we build both strength and stability while staying deeply connected to the breath. This practice helps improve focus, balance, and resilience — qualities that support not only your yoga but also your daily life off the mat.

These classes are perfect for anyone who wants to develop strength at a manageable pace. Whether you’re newer to yoga and prefer a slower style, or you’re more experienced and want to refine your postures and build stability, Slow Flow offers a powerful yet accessible practice.

For this class bring your own mat and yoga block. Suitable for all levels & age groups – especially beginners who want to build strength, and those seeking a strong but steady practice. Great for developing stability, balance, and focus.

Fiona and Ylva will share this class and teach it every other week.
